Welcome to this website! Feel free to browse these pages. Division Chemical Services is a sole proprietor business dedicated to providing services to support industrial, water treatment operations. The name is borrowed from the former chemical group that operated at Southern California Edison from 1955-2013 and was called the Division Chemical Section prior to the deregulation of electric generation in California. Division Chemical’s values are operational excellence, continuous improvement, and safety first. Recommendations and services are based on common sense, hands-on, end-user experience and a non-partisan approach is taken with regards to suppliers’ products and services. This business is teamed with The KAAM Group, Inc., to provide consulting and water chemistry services for your plant’s needs. Division Chemical Services is largely an independent contractor for KAAM Group Inc. and our combined customers include the three major power stations in AES Southland, NRG Energy Inc., Electric Power Research Institute, and Southern California Edison’s, Gas and Solar Division.
Division Chemical Services is networked with testing laboratories throughout the service area. In-house analytical capability includes trace analysis for chloride and sulfate by ion chromatography. We have the expertise to collect samples and specify the appropriate test methods for discharge compliance, hazardous material characterization, power plant cycle troubleshooting, and ultrapure water testing. An explanation and interpretation of results are provided with lab reports.
